We are seeking a Metals Processor to join our team. As a Metals Processor, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a tube laser, high definition plasma and bandsaw to produce high-quality structural components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate tube laser, plasma and bandsaw machine to cut, shape, and form metal components according to specifications
– Load and unload materials onto the machine using cranes or other lifting equipment
– Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper cutting and make adjustments as needed

– Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required standards
– Perform routine maintenance on the machine, such as cleaning and lubricating, to ensure optimal performance
– Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents
– Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and achieve production goals
– Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

– Perform other tasks as assigned

Experience:
– Previous experience operating a tube laser cutting machine is a benefit. Mazak experience a plus.

-Must be able to demonstrate ability to read tape measure, micrometer and angle gauge.
– Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials is desirable
– Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
– Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately
– Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
