Plant Operations Support

Description
Supports the daily plant operations by serving customers, plant maintenance, housekeeping, and providing services for the office when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously follows the safety guidelines and safety programs established by Premier Companies
- Performs required and requested maintenance on the branch plant, equipment, products and inventories
- Keeps the Branch Manager informed of operational, customer, vendor, or employee issues that may arise
- Promotes the business with existing and potential customers in a positive manner
- Assists in housekeeping inside and outside the work areas
- Performs additional tasks that may be required
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals
- Ability to follow established processes
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Ability to manage time effectively
Education:
- High school degree or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Able to reach, pull and lift 50+ lbs
- Able to handle repetitive lift and pull motion
- Able to read documents with fine print
- Able to use a keyboard
- Able to hear effectively on the phone
